Meet Nehemiah
“I stand on truth, I’m led by the Holy Spirit, and I’m driven by the love of Christ.”
Where my journey began…
My name is Nehemiah Castillo, and my walk with Jesus started when I was just six years old. I grew up in church, but even as a child, I knew I needed Him personally — not as a distant idea, but as the Savior who would lead my life. One day, sitting in the backseat of my parents’ car, I told them I wanted to give my life to Jesus. That moment became the foundation of everything I am today.
That doesn’t mean the journey has been perfect. I’ve battled anxiety, fear of the future, and the pressure to do everything in my own strength. But through every season, Jesus has continued to shape me, teach me, and transform me. The scripture that anchors my life is 2 Timothy 4:7: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” It reminds me daily that faith is not passive — it’s a fight, a race, and a calling to endure.
Why I Started The Fight of Faith Collective…
I started The Fight of Faith Collective because I felt called by God to build others and remind them that faith is a daily fight — but with Jesus, it’s a fight we will win. I’ve always carried a burden for people who feel like they’re fighting alone. I want believers to know they’re part of something bigger, something united, something rooted in truth.
That’s why I call it a collective. It’s not about me. It’s about Jesus and His people fighting the good fight of faith together.
I believe conviction is a gift — a sign of God’s love — because He wants us close to Him for eternity. Through this movement, I want people to encounter the love of Christ, the truth of His Word, and the excitement of representing something greater than themselves.
My Work Today…
Today, I serve as the founder, creative director, head speaker, and host of The Fight of Faith Show. I currently do everything myself — and I love it — but I’m excited to soon expand the team God is building.
I serve an online audience, and while I’m not tied to a specific church role right now, I’m committed to being the light of the world and the salt of the earth wherever God places me. My approach is simple: stand on truth, be led by the Holy Spirit, and love people like Christ.
I don’t pretend to know everything. I’m human, I fail, and I’m always learning. But I’m committed to being proactive in the faith and pointing people to Jesus above all else.
What Shaped My Voice, Convictions, and Calling…
My walk with Christ, the wisdom of my parents who are pastors, and the lessons learned through my own mistakes have shaped the way I lead, create, and speak. I’ve learned to love people deeply while standing firmly on truth. I’ve learned not to judge by appearances, because we never know the battles someone is fighting. And I’ve learned that when the Holy Spirit says speak or move, obedience matters — because we don’t always see the full impact of our yes.
These convictions are the heartbeat of everything I do. People often tell me that my messages speak directly to what they’re going through — and I know that’s not me. That’s the Holy Spirit working through me. I am a vessel and an instrument ready to be used.
My Vision for the Future…
I see The Fight of Faith Collective reaching nations, building believers, strengthening families, and expanding the Kingdom of God while destroying the works of darkness. In the next 5–10 years, I want to help build — build homes, build ministries, build churches, build families, and build people’s walks with God.
Long-term, I don’t care if people remember my name. I care that they remember Christ through me.
The Legacy I Want to Leave…
I come from a small town, and many people believe you can’t make something of yourself from a place like this. But I know that if God plants a dream in your heart, He will accomplish it. I want my life to inspire generations and communities to build what God has called them to build — to have faith, not doubt, because whatever door God opens, no one can close.
Faith is a fight. But with Jesus, it’s a fight we win.
